The car:
2.7-6 track only car

I've been pondering the idea of an oil filter before the front cooler after thermostat.
Would this do anything?
Is this a waste of time?
Anyone done this?

Am I really a moron for thinking about this?

Dear Moron, don't you already have one at the oil tank?

yes, I was just wondering if there would be a benefit to one at the front right before the oil cooler.

I know, it may be a dumb question, but I thought maybe it might be an interesting idea.

Do you plan on blowing the engine ??

Most of the time.. they dont actually grenade. The make loud noises and send "some" bearing material thru the system.

I dont see any harm in it.. your running a crappy RX7 el cheapo cooler anyway.. let it get jammed with all kinds of crap and just replace it. :finger2:
