Porsche 911 Performance Handbook, by Bruce Anderson (for you 914-6 fans) h. How to Rebuild Your Air-cooled Volkswagen Engine, by Tom Wilson i. Factory Workshop Manuals. Available on microfiche for ~$35.00, or hard copy for several hundred dollars. j. Factory Parts Manuals. Also available on microfiche or hard copy. k. 914 and 914-6 Porsche, A Restorer's Guide to Authenticity, New Revised Edition, Dr. B. Johnson.
Porsche 914 & 914-6, The Definitive History of the Road & Competition Cars, by Brian Long. Porsches For The Road, The Survivors Series by Henry Rasmussen has a chapter on the 914-6 but nothing really on the 4's. Porsche: A Tradition of Greatness by Editors of Consumers Guide has a chapter, Type 914: Product of the Joint Chiefs. Paul |
