Touch a nerve? I don't need to grow up, I need to NOT get screwed unnecessarily! Let it go.....you don't have a dog here. Don These are friends, Don. You show up here just to stir up shit, so I got more "dog" here than you do. So act like an adult, or if you can't do that then if there's any place on the internet where you're still welcome go back there. . |

Wow, looks like everyone had their coffee this AM! BUWAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA! I dare say that Chris ended THAT friendship with a can of Tangerine Orange spray paint. Now THAT is DIS-RESPECT! How about somebody goes to YOUR shop and shits in the corner, HUH? YOU guys might feel like you have to, but I don't have any reason to kiss a Tangerine's ass..... What I can't build, I'll buy somewhere ELSE. Don |

I think this dumb-ass is immune to alphansims. First class douche bag. I really wanted to believe he was the kind of guy who could be fun bullshitting in a real garage. But he has proven to just be an ass.
I know he thinks he is cool, and is probably doing this for kicks and hoping to find some kudos on Jake's forum. But that just makes me think he is even more of a moron. It's like this: (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/www.coldforged.org-3573-1312869208.1.jpg) But yet I wonder if even Jake the big dog is impressed with this asshat. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) You could like me, but you would have to think for yourself and not follow the shepard around so closely.... I'm not an asshole, no matter if I seem like it on a VW/Porsche site or two once in a while. Don |

More attacks from the forum? Unheeded by the MOD? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Anywho, DStar came about before you were BORN. Before the INTERNET. It was for Death Star, or my name, Donald Starling. It was Dstar on the only online access available in the 70's, Compuserve, then DStar2000 on Fido-Net, then after all the 2000 this and 2000 that, I got tired of seeing the "2000" in everything, so I changed it to DStar5000. There's your history lesson. Don |

It has been my experience that flat motors seem to have much more oil in their internal air due to the proximity of their crankcase vents to all the whirily bits. Also remember the cam/lifter going in & out in close proximity the the heads oil drain tubes from the heads of a T-4.....that cannot promote good drainage.
I remember an old pic of some plexi-glass valve cover showing the valve covers 2/3rds full of oil at higher revs. Personally, I don't give a shit how, but you need to deal with that oil loaded windage. Chances are there will be an honest difference of opinion on that and anyone that disagrees with YOU is an asshat. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

many post opinions and speculation about a topic. many post something they read elsewhere as if it were their own experience. Jake is a data collector like me. I respect those who do. if you are a do-er, than post pics, data or real world results.
for those who use this BBS as a place to learn, as I do, I hope you can see the difference. allways evaluate the source. |

I have a 76 2.0. No head vents and no PCV valve. Just a hose from the oil filler to the air cleaner. I was wondering if this was normal. I guess it is. Looks like they toyed with this quite a bit and ended up being almost like the old days. They vented into the air cleaner instead of the atmosphere. I am sure there is some draw from the air cleaner.
