Pouring rain here today. Jay, the car's owner, doesn't want to go (in this weather) to the storage place where he has the car. (I don't blame him - it sucks.) He asked to reschedule to Saturday-ish.

Will take bunches of pictures.

I have the guy's cellphone number, and was supposed to call to set up an visit time on Saturday. I called several times Saturday and once Sunday. No answer.

Not sure what's up, but I'm going to try him again this weekend. The weather is projected to be good, so that won't be an excuse.

I'm still excited to go see it.

Is it a grey car in the Lenexa area?

If it is the grey one. It has the factory installed fenders but came with the stock motor.

If I'm not mistaken the difference was M472 vs M471 option code.

The owner back in the early 90's had the window sticker to prove it.

No. It's pale yellow, according to the owner.

Do you know the owner in Lenexa?

I know the owner of the Grey car.

He is a small animal vet. He's had the car for 15-20 years.

If you want his name, PM or email me.

Cool. Check your mail. Is he willing to show the car to other enthusiasts?

I didn't try. Weather was crappy, and that was his excuse last time.

I spent the day setting up a saltwater fishtank.

Nope. Just a dealer optioned M-471 tank.

I just reached Jay, the owner of the car. He's at work. He told me to call him back tomorrow - it's his day off.
