I have seen a Green/White LE car but that was a long time ago. It was only until WCC that I have seen any LE in person since the 70's. They were considered kewl by some and goofy to others but unique by all. It was a "special" run of cars and the smart folks who bought one kept it in good shape.

It took a while, but now Porsche confirms that the Grasshopper LE is a myth. It is interesting to see how this legend continued to flourish over the years. I wanted to dig up this thread to see how convinced some people were that it had actually existed. |
