I picked up some new Zimmerman rotors with Coat-Z anti corrosion on them. I would like to paint the "hats" black; can I paint over the Coat-Z?
thanks

It looks to be the same consistency as primer.(have it on my new rotors)

High heat BBQ paint sticks to anything, so I am sure you will be fine painting over it.

I'll give them a quick spary. I guess if it comes off I can remove all the coating and properly paint them.
