For more than three years now, the locals in Sacramento and other hardcore teener guys from out of town as far away as Oregon have gotten together once a month to munch on a donut and chat about our beloved 914's. Last week I was handed the keys to our new home in Reno and by month's end, Nicho will be starting school... Let's get together for one last time! August 27th, 9am to noonish. Family Donuts and Deli - 9045 Fair Oaks Blvd at the corner of San Juan Avenue and Fair Oaks Blvd. Attached image(s) |

Hey, how about creating a bi-annual Sacramento to Reno run up 50 through
south shore and down into Reno...that would be a good two-day thing over a weekend... If I were out there, I would enjoy it. |

I will probably have a Reno Porsche Family Reunion but as far as I know, it would only be me Z, and Rand... I am thinking of organizing an annual Targa Tahoe Event that will be a drink in the parking lot thing on Saturday, and drive through the Sierras on Sunday. That would be through the Sierra-Nevada Region PCA though.
Thanks for coming guys. I hope someone picks up the banner and keeps it going... I would come over when I could. Funny, going to Reno my Tahoe took 3/4 tank of gas climbing that 7200ft and descending 2700 into Reno. On the way back, it is of course a 2700ft climb into Donner Pass followed by a 4500ft descent. My gas gauge barely budged off of full! |

One of the climbs was almost the same height as the previous descent, that we had to all get out and run beside the car, pushing it about 50 yards over the crest, and then hoping in and coasting the rest of the way without stopping. |

I'll try to make it aswell, its my brothers birthday, but I'm sure I can stop by for a few on my way out.
I think a annual tahoe run would be great... that area is so nice and its fun to drive a 914 through... |

You guys try not to throw up road shittage on John's car. I suspect that thing could be COTM material one day if it doesn't keep getting abused... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Had a thought, I know it's short notice, but why not make this reunion even more special and send Rob off to his new job and home in style. I'm willing to open my house for a BBQ if anyones interested, I'll even donate everything for hamburgers.
We live in the country,(near Wilton, just so. of sacramento) have plenty of room, even a pool and spa for the kids (or adults). Even a garage full of cars and parts to talk about Just a thought, let me know if there's an interest Jeff |

I think a BBQ is a great idea but do I have to give up the doughnuts? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
