I recently installed a new Bursch "steelpack" muffler (described as the "street", meaning quieter, one) I know many of you like these, but I find it to be too loud.

Is there any aftermarket muffler that is really quiet, or is my only option to try to find a good used "stock" banana (I think new are either NLA or made of gold)? Tweeks and/ or mid-america list Dansk and "Ansa" mufflers in their catalogs. Anyone know for sure if either of these would be significantly quieter than the Bursch?

Bursch makes a good street version...very civilized and sounds nice.
