Unless you need to go through Pittsburg PA for some reason, you can cut nearly an hour off your trip. From Buffalo you can nearly drive a straight line to Richmond Va with Altoona PA right in the middle.

Or you could fly. Someone would pick you up. probably. The chances are slim that we would strand you... intentionally.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bootyshake.gif)

I've been giving this a lot of thought lately and ......well..........the thing is, you and I have something really great right here like it is. I know we both have expectations of how our first time together will be, pointing fingers and laughing, frolicking in the meadow and all, and I'd hate to be let down by seeing you for either of us to be dissapointed and have that ruin what we have now. There's also the issue of having both Mikes in the same place at the same time. It could get really awkward for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Maybe if Dave came along it could work out, but there's still that first time expectation for all 3 of us. Can we still be friends ? It's okay, I understand. It's not me, it's the polaroids and the brown envelope held by the law firm. It's not likely that I would be allowed into the U.S. anyway, especially if I didn't have proof that Mike had all his shots. So yeah, call it "friends".

Same damn reason I'm not allowed at any West Coast functions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I made one too many references to this movie, and now Mike won't go!

It's a ten and a half hour drive (thirteen plus if Dave plans the route). After, oh, say 15 minutes Dave's ADD kicks in. Wooo-hoooooooo! Good times! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

During the entire drive Dave is either:
A) talking . . non . . stop . .
B) sitting with his head turned staring intently. Just staring.

On top of that figure 4-6 hours at the border while Homeland Security run his prints . . DNA sampling . . cavity search.

I think for now I'll just mark my calendar in pencil . . . .

But I am! A good driver. That is.

Mike's just mad that I don't want to show up in the Buick Roadmaster.

$%^&ing guy just wants to wear a sweater vest and smoke a pipe the whole way.

I said fly and rent a car but he won't go anywhere without his voodoo dolls and his pins and the pins are a big freaking no-no on an airplane. Go ahead ask him how he knows, but before that look and see how many posts he has from April 13th until May 7th from his Hotel-Homeland -Security-Room. Oh, then ask him who he owes bail money to!

Sheesh.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) Myke, can't you make the trip more tolerable / fun by taking some of Dayv'z ADD meds ? I thought that was how you guys rolled anyway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) among other things (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sheeplove.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Dave has insecurity issues and doesn't think he could pull off the Roadmaster vibe.

Seriously Dave? I just looked at this for the first time; is there a reason this route crosses the border at the Falls, veers west almost into Ohio, back into PA, down past PITTSBURGH!!! before finally making it back to the highway that you should have been on all along?

I dunno. I put the start address and the end address into Mapquest and that's what it spit out. Maybe Pittsburg is spending some money to increase tourism? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Ah. 'Nuff said.

Dave was my navigator in a rally; I kept shouting at him for commands and he's googling MapQuest on his PDA. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

The winning drivers stage time was 11 minutes and 45 seconds.

We pulled in at 11:45 the following morning.

1. The PDA MapQuest became a necessity because you needed to use the map that was provided by the Rally organizers while you were in the bushes. I told you no one eats day-old Taco Bell for breakfast before a race.

2. You didn't even need a navigator. You needed a bartender. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Again, Scottie, I don't know why we do this to your threads, I am truly sorry.

No, really.
