Hello, I have a recently purchased 76 2.0 that I am prepping for vintage racing in Canada and the US SVRA/VARAC. I am working through the rule books and have a number of questions for guys who have already been there.

Brakes- Looks like you have to use the original calipers? Is this true or am I reading this too literally? If so any upgrades you can do besides pads? SVRA states you can use drilled/slotted rotors while VARAC says no.

Bumpers- States that they need to be original material. No Fiberglass I assume? I'd like to get some oil cooling up front so I assume I need to modify and original bumper?

Any other words of wisdom working through this process would be appreciated.

I am in Ontario Canada and would love to connect with any others in the area who are racing vintage class 914s

Thanks, Joe
