at the bbq we just had up here i was talking to a man who said that he had bought a 914 that had been converted with a sporto from a 911 from a porsche dealer up in this area.

The sportomatic was a factory option for both the 914 and the 914/6 but wery rarely sold.

I think there are better options out there.
Audi/VW FWD Auto Subaru FWD Auto Tons of year ranges and gears to work with on those as well. I have plans of making a automatic solution in the next couple of years. |

starter mount is from the engine side. photo is not a type 091 auto tranny/
this must be from a inline motor with the way the starter is mounted. |

I got him to fix it. Well, partially fix it. It's still REALLY wrong. It's not a 924 tranny, BTW, the dipstick tube gives it away.
