I'll be out there for Saturday and understand there are lots of openings in all classes. Take advantage of the smaller attendance to have less traffic and more open track! The turn-out was less than 50 drivers and there was a ton of open track! On top, was GREAT weather with clear skies and temps of 60 in the morning and topping out at 87 in the afternoon. So why don't all you Parking-lot Commandos come out to a REAL Race Track where REAL MEN drive? I just cannot figure it out. These are Time Trial events with 5 sessions of 20 minutes on Saturday and at least a couple sessions before going to actual timed laps on Sunday afternoon. Passing in corners is ONLY allowed in the ADVANCED class, so in the lower classes while you are learning the track, there will be NO scary passing moments. There are a couple FUN time-trial groups who do a very good job: -'Extremespeedtrackevents.com' is one and on different dates, look at: -SpeedTrialUSA.com is another offering FREE driver school to 1st timers. Between the 2 groups, you can choose a week-end & track to your liking. Willow Springs has the Original 2.5m, 9 turn high-speed track, the 1.8m, 13 turn technical track: Streets of Willow Springs , and the wild up& down on The Horse Thief Mile ready for your enjoyment.
