so, there is conflicting information on here, and Pelican Parts.

for a 901/38 case
Serial #6405100

On Pelican Parts, it says it's a 1970 (built in 1969) 914/6 engine.

Any idea what it really is??

Looks like a standard US market 1970 914-6 engine based on info from the Porsche PET file.

My Motor is #4444 and goes to Car #673, so this should belong to Car # 1300 approx

don't forget, that engine number and VIN didn't go hand in hand
there were 4 different engine types, but only one VIN type
