I am thinking of replacing my door sills as they have gotten quite rusted. If I use the Restoration Design peices, how difficult a job am I looking at?

I can't tell you how hard they are to get on, but I can tell you that they are not that hard to get off. I have taken mine off and it was not that bad. The only hard part is dealing with the brazing where the sill meets the rear door post. I just cut through mine (the brazing, of course you will need to drill out the spot welds). My car is pretty rough so I was not too worried about it. If you search the subject you should find more/better info.
Good luck -Pete |
