Same friend for whom I'm seeking a restoration shop, he has the car outside with a cloth cover. And it's torn and old. Who makes a good outdoor waterproof cover?

Thanks again. I emailed him the suggestions on shops, and hopefully he'll put it back on the road in good condition soon.

I have a California Car Cover Company cover made of their Superweave fabric. It's fantastic - like a little garage.

It's not cheap though - $270 but you get what you pay for.

That said, I think the "Stormtech" cover Performance Products sells is the same cover. I'm 99% sure that Cal Car Cover is making the Performane covers. I just don't know if the fabric is exactly the same as the Superweave.

I need a second cover so I think I'm going to buy one and see. They are on sale now for $180 with the current 10% off promotion.
