Hi Guys,
I am trying to locate my old Adriatic Blue 914-6 which I sold in 1985. I found it a few years ago in Colorado and it has since moved to Ohio or so I have been led to believe. It is registered on the 914-6 registry and the vin # is 9140432025. It was very original and had the original engine and trans when I sold it. Any help or leads would be great appreciated!

The last record we have here is from CO but it's from 2000. A lot can happen in 11 years.

Wolfgang, do you have another pic from that ad showing the Adriatic Blue with the Beige interior? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

Blue on Beige, my all time fav 914 color combo (75-75 Blue-white next I suppose). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

Clark,

Your Adriatic Blue 914-6 is still in the Detroit Burbs, Royal Oak I think??? Mr. Zarbo sold it a few years ago & the new owner was at our 914 gathering this year in August during the Woodward Dream Cruise. I think his name is Mark? Some of our guys talked to him and has his name, I don't.

I was gonna say... last I saw it it was in Michigan. It went through a color change and then back to Adriatic Blue.

Thanks Tom for the info. So yes everything looks correct except when I owned it in '85 it had a black interior. Wondering if someone changed it out? Also, what do you think is the best way to get ahold of this new owner, Mark? Maybe I should contact the PCA region of Michigan. I'm also going to contact Richard Zarbo to see if he has any info. on the new owner.

Thanks to you and all the guys here for all of your help!!!

Clark.

Danke! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Based on the Black center cushion & Clark's comment above - to my eye that looks like one of Auto International's fine interior reupholstery jobs with the currently available tan materials (or equivalent material/shop).

Gosh, I was hoping to eventually find an original factory -6 in either Adriatic, Gemini, #98 or #99 Blue paint with the stock Beige interior - as in this period ad.
