Volvos from that period use the same trigger points as our cars. Expand your search to include them. Last set I bought came from a Volvo parts specialist.

Try Googling this: "Bosch fuel injection trigger points" Lotsa hits!

I sold them for $35 when the new price was $105.

Ask what you want ... if they don't sell .... oh well.

I got some new ones last year for much less that $105 (50-ish IIRC after a 20-25% discount at PP) & found them at Pelican, Automotion/Perf. Products, AA, etc. - and maybe Jonathan at GPR has them too.

I'd stick with new ones if you're rebuilding/restoring your 914, so you don't start out with problems - but then that's IMHO.

Odd. I found a bunch of 'em and I never got off the first page.

Here's an ebay ad from a guy with "more than 10 available".

Here is a new set I purchased from a member here. Numbers match the e-bay ad. They are for my spares box, so they aren't for sale.
Looks like from the box, Performance products sold them.

I have found these available new thru Automotion, I believe i got a set from AA last year(autoatlanta) yes, and i had it in 4 days from order date, but i am in SC same shipping region.

Right now IRP (import replacement parts)
Manufacturer: BOSCH
Part Number: BSH012875
Description: Injection Trigger Points
Packing Size:PIECE; Years:; Per Car Qty:1;
Injection Trigger Points $128.13
-
it says call for availability so i dont know if they are in stock.-
Automotion says currently out of stock.

I also saw the add from e-bay, if they are new, might want to get an extra set, as it appears to be out of stock from several regular suppliers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Trigger Point, For 914-4 PorscheĀ®, 1970-1973
Don't overlook the fuel injection trigger points in the distributor when doing tune-ups on your 914-4. These points control the fuel injection timing. A worm set of points can cause a host of problems. Does not fit 914-4 1.8L
This part does not fit the vehicle you have selected.
