I have been noticing that when I start the car up the oil pressure light stays on for about 1 1/2 seconds after I start the car. It does not light up again after this. It just feels like it is on a hair too long.
Maybe I'm running too light an oil? -Ross |

20W50 till about 30 degrees.
After that I go to 40 weight, or the oil gets so thick it can blow seals. Light staying on a bit is fine...give it some gas and get it up to 1500 for a bit and the oil pressure will get up where you need it. Rich |
