My friend from California is going to register her truck in Park City (Summit Cty). She needs a safety inspection on her 94 Pathfinder 2WD.
What is entailed in the safety inspection? |

They check all of the lights, and make sure the brakes are good(they usually pull two wheels), the e-brake they also check for cracks in the windsheild and tire wear
thats about it I think unless they changed it since I lived there. |

That's basically it... they do a skid test and assign percentages to each brake. Lights, wipers etc... windshield cracks for sure. Basic saftey inspection. The emissions test is the fun one. The 911 and the 914-6 can't pass without voodoo.

I was reading on your dmv's page and Summit County isn't listed as needing an emissions test. Only 4 counties needed them.

I hollowed the cat on a truck when I had it. It wouldn't pass emisions unless I bought a case of Bud and left it in the passenger seat.
