I have searched and read about a million threads however I am not able to find a clear, concise instruction on what needs to be done use use a Schadek oil pump in a T4. I was thinking that it would be nice if we could start a single post that addresses all the questions in one place. (yes, I know that you can purchase schadek pumps already modified from certain vendors- but that is no fun). \

So here is what I know and what is posted all over the place-

-cam gear bolts must be clearanced for at least .060 clearance.
-cam gear should be spot faced where gear bolts contact gear
-you must push the oil pump gear shaft further into the gear with a vise
-longer oil pump case studs are needed (or bolts)

The questions that I have not been able to answer are-

-the oil pump gear shaft tower needs to be milled down- how much?
-once the tower is milled, do I still need to spot face the cam gear?
-how much do I need to push the drive shaft into the pump gear?

If there is a clear write up on the mod, please paste the link here.
This link was helpful but didn't answer all the questions-
