Here's a functional battery tray repair to get me by until the *real* repair in the winter during the SIX conversion.

When we pulled the motor out, the rust under the battery in the hole was UGLY. ( Still is UGLY ) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

In fact, I pulled out a nest with a mouse skeleton included. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

You can get a lot done when the motor is out.

We repaired one rear trunk pivot point and replaced the other. Welding up the tray from this angle was quite easy.

Yes, I made noises like a SIX while I was in there. Wouldn't you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

Only if you kept the template! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I am actually looking foward to completly clearing out that rust hole and doing it right.

Welding is fun for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)
