Here's a functional battery tray repair to get me by until the *real* repair in the winter during the SIX conversion.
When we pulled the motor out, the rust under the battery in the hole was UGLY. ( Still is UGLY ) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) In fact, I pulled out a nest with a mouse skeleton included. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) KT Attached image(s) |

You can get a lot done when the motor is out.
We repaired one rear trunk pivot point and replaced the other. Welding up the tray from this angle was quite easy. Yes, I made noises like a SIX while I was in there. Wouldn't you? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) KT Attached image(s) |
