I just picked up a complete set of used Konis (front and rear). I ran the part#s and they are for 914/9146 and are externally adjustable. I'm converting to 5 lug with a complete '85 carrera front end. I see the part #'s for the '85 911 front inserts are different, will the 914 inserts fit the 911 struts???? I believe the 911 struts are boge (they're black?). I would really like to use the Konis and figured you guys would know if they'd work.

I think the differences are in the valving only. Call Jason at Paragon Products. He knows exactly what will mix and match properly. He's the man.

They wont fit...however...you can buy an adapter from Jason so they will fit.
