Like the title says. These have good spindles. What you get are 2 914-6 front struts (no inserts) with hubs and studs and 1 set of PMB Restored Front M-Calipers.

Can add front wheel bearings and seals for $32.96
Can add inserts for $208.10
Can add front rotors for $90.70
Can add SS DOT (F&R) brake lines for $65.00
Can add complete clean and paint on the struts for $100.00
Can add front pads for $32.83

Anything else you might need for more $$$. If you want pics let me know. I still need to remove the old ratty rotors and junk inserts.

All plus shipping (+ tax in CA)

3 inch spacing, It is the old pinch bolt style. They do take vented rotors. the struts and hubs without the rotors would be $325.00 plus shipping (+ tax in CA).
These are actual 914-6 struts with a 914 part number. Same as early 911 but with 914 part number. Let me know if you are interested

Do these use the same strut inserts as a late model (1973) 914/4?

Will they slip over the 1973 ball joints?

They are early. You would have to change your ball joints to the early style.

These do use the same insert as the 914-4 and slits is correct about needing to change to the early ball joint and bolt.

are they grey?

I do not want to waste your time
a friend is trying to restore his struts and was asking what the originals looked like.

if you have the time, could you post a picture?

otherwise I understand and do not want to waste your time

Brant, I am sorry to have wasted your time, my time and everyone else's time but it turns out they are not what i was told they were, factory 914-6 front struts with a 914 part number, but are a black strut with a 901 part number. My apologies to everyone who has looked at these. NO LONGER FOR SALE!

I have to take the blame for the confusion here. I picked these up years ago & had them stored away, and somehow remembered they were from a 6. Jonathan & I did some horsetrading, and I told him that they were from a 6, without checking the numbers to verify. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
My apologies to Jonathan & all who were interested in these.
