QUOTE Do I dare ask if you "tested" with the permatune after getting it running correctly ?? This will rehash what's been posted to Rennlist. Long story, but yes. In short: 1. Put in Permatune - not at all driveable, but replaced many parts on the advice of PT tech support. No lightshow in the engine bay at night. 2. Put in a stock unit - drove 300 miles to Iowa. 3. While in Iowa, put in Permatune. 4. Couldn't make it two blocks. 5. Put stock unit back in, drove home. 6. Got rid of the Permatune. 7. Cleaned, adjusted, etc various parts of car. But my car runs well now, and I'm a very happy camper. -Rusty |
