So my neighbor next door and his brother who visits every time there is a race in town are awesome. Today as I was out in the front yard my neighbors brother who was in town visiting gave me a disk with some vintage photos from Laguna Seca and I think he said Riverside from the early 70's. He was/is in to both racing and photography and wanted to get me some of the 914 pictures he had. Check out these awesome vintage photos.

Could you imagine seeing a full race car filling up at the local gas station? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Depending on the specific race this should be Dwight Mitchell in the #30 and Elliott Forbes Robinson should be behind him in the #29 car.

Having known Dwight for many years now (don't see him much since he moved to Florida) I would love to know where the #30 car ended up. I heard it might be on the east coast but nothing specific.

Thanks for the #15 914/6 image. That's the car I worked on when I was but a young man. Bill Cuddy driving a Richie Ginther built car.

Now if there was an image of the McLaren Mark 8E we raced .......... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

That 76 Union Station was in the Paddock at Riverside.

Way to cool.

Interesting GT flares on the 914-6. Never seen any with the fender lip detail.
