I haven't seen to many of these in person. I think it was a dealer option in '72 to tie it in with the Can-Am 917-10. I've seen it in the ads.

I've only ever seen the it in the ads.

I checked my books....wasn't offered by the factory. Looks like more than a few got the idea from the 911 graphic and made them....not hard.

I seem to remember seeing it offered in a factory options catalog, can't remember for sure.
