On top of the hat or under it. Do these things also need a rubber snubber deal so I don't bottom them out? The KYB one I have is too small.

That works, thanks. I have 911 struts. I just read that the bump stop is internal so I don't need and external one. Don't think one would work anyhow due to the large diameter of the strut. I'll put the rubber ring on the top like the picture.

yes, it just holds the hat for shipping. that #6 in the diagram is the spacer in the strut tower bushing (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) That spacer is used to space the top of strut down when it hits the hood as you are trying to close it, not always used though . Got to experiment.IIRC it's about a 1/2 inch length. |
