Our local auto-x club rigged this on car camera. Check out the link to videos, the camaro video about half way down is pretty cool with lots of oversteer and many dead cones. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
Somehow its much cooler with the point of view outside the car than when it is inside the car. dr http://autox.carlc.com/video/vid_0704.html Attached image(s) |

I use my in car cam all the time. Next time I'll set it up so it peeks up and over the front windshield.
Good for learning where I coulda, shoulda next time I'm gonna. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Should provide good POV without risk of my cam hitting the deck if it comes loose. KT |

My input:
Don't watch the first video, Mini #1, it'll put you to sleep. Watch Victor Leo, that's action! I prefer the camera IN the car. That way you can hear the tires and engine. Outside there is so much wind noise that it drowns out a lot of the good noises (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks for the link! I just gotta into SCCA one of these days!! |
