This may seem like a dumb question. Do the 914-4 engines use a dry sump oil system? I am looking at getting a nice breather bottle but i don't know if the one on summit racing is what i need because is say's it is for a dry sump system. so can any one let me know please.

They are talking about a car with FI here.
Chris, you want the PVC hose to go to the plenum right next to where the MPS hose hooks up. Thats a strong vacuum to pull the air out of the engine block where it gets pressurized from the blowby and shit flying around in a circle. You want the intake to pull that out and then digest it. By reducing the pressure inside the motor the engine spins easier (a small amount) Geoff |
