Anyone checked the weather lately? It's not looking good IMO, and rain in the mountains turns to snow/sleet super quick. You guys still wanting to head up there?

For anyone who's coming, please sound off. Let's get a headcount so we know who to wait up for at the meetup place.

I'll be there.

ya its not looking good for me ...i need a christmas miracle!! my family decided to do xmas a week early so everyone can attend and the decision was also made that it will be held at my house (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif) so you could imagine what my weekend will consist of. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad2.gif)

please take lots of pictures so i can live vicariously through you guys.

OK, Here is what you do. Get up early, sneak out and meet us at the Denny's. When we get to Idylwild, call your wife and tell her you were "sleep driving" and woke up in Idylwild. Now that would be a miracle.

Alright, count me in boys. is the address at the dennys?

Yup, that be it. I posted the Denny's phone number also. I called and they're 24-7.

As always, if it's raining when you get up, forget it. I think it is going to stay south of us. If it does rain here it should be later in the AM. As far as the winds go, we will be on the leeward side of the mountain.

Hey guys, got a tip off that almost all of the roads in idyllwild are covered in black ice. Sounds like the roads are undrivable, and that chains are needed. i definetely am not going if there is black ice everywhere. Might be wise to postpone kent..

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) My girls grandparents live up there. They told me that the sheriff is requiring chains on 4wd vehicles even. Not to be a chicken s*&% but summer rated tires on ice is not sounding good. A happy new year run is sounding a whole lot nicer.
