Waht is recommended for tranny mounts for an AX car that is driven on the street as well? I am planning on replacing these soon, I saw Tarett sells a solid mount kit. Are these overkill? Should I try the sport mounts, or stay stock?
One thing I have been experiencing, is when my tranny is not warmed up, it clunks when I shift out of first gear. This only happens once, always on the first shift of the day (meaning after it sat overnight). Any thoughts? I have no problems with grinding, slipping out of gears, or getting into first... |

I like the sport mounts alot but your car is getting so "race ready" maybe you would like the solids ones.

Geoff Yea, now all the driver has to do is get himself race ready (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I am doing this for the maintenence aspect, but was wondering if there was a better choice considering the fact that this is an AX/street car. Ill look into the sport mounts |

Run the solid mounts. I like Taretts, but unless they are 50-60$ I run a billet aluminum square block that we machine.

JP and I went to lunch today... a lady stopped me in the parking lot and asked me why my hair was green. It gave JP time to smoke a cigarette and the lady got a kick out of my "reason".
