"Fuel" by Mettalica

"Radar love" (White Lion version)

There is a another Mettalica cover that goes "East of Omaha.. I smoked the days last cigarette..." I forget the name of the song.

I think that's a cover of an old Bob Seger song, Turn the Page.

Roll me Away was a good one by Seger, too.

Did you mean songs about cars? Or driving music?

Ride of the Valkyries - Wagner
Rhapsody in Blue - Gershwin
Mac the Knife - Louie Armstrong
Roam - B52's ( no clue why)
Fuel - Metallica
One - Metallica
King Nothing - Metallica
Clocks - Coldplay
Whatever - Godsmack

"And your crowned KING NOTHING". Great song..

Metallica recorded their latest album about 10 minutes from the shop up here in San Rafael. Lars lives in Tiburon in a badass house.

Hmmm....

While I'm not a huge Sammy Hagar fan I'm surprised nobody voted for "I can't drive 55".

At age 14 I'd had my drivers licence for about 2 weeks when my Mom's cousin took me for a drive in his new RX-7. He put me in the drivers seat for some high speed canyon carving up the Salmon River from Salmon to North Fork. (Gorgious country if you've not seen it) He put me through some intense instruction (He races bikes, carts, and cars) . I've never sweated that much in my life and won't ever forget it. Hagar was in the tape deck, so the experience is burned into my brain with that soundtrack. I still sweat when I hear that song.
