It was too nice to drive straight home from work today so I took a detour. I went out on the highway, no cars around except a minivan behind me and ....... go.(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
I dropped it into third gear and gave it some gas, fourth gear and it just kept going...all the way to about 95 mph. Smooth and comfortable so far. Dropped it into fifth and brought it to just over 100 mph. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif) (showing on the speedo so it probably wasn't really quite that fast) There was still alot more pull in it and I was just over 4k on the tach. Then I saw a car coming around the corner towards me so I slowed it right down. (remembering the speeding ticket I just got in it last month) It was a white Impala but not a cop. I had my smile for the day so I turned it around and went home for a beer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |
