I recently bought a 1971 914-6 from the original owner. He was both the first and third owner.

Below are a few comments from the original owner that I bought the car from:

"I drove it as my only car until September 1979 when I sold it to Norman A. Martin. He apparently never registered it. He lived in Lakewood Colorado. We met in Columbus Ohio where he put it on a closed trailer and took it home I presume. My next connection with it was in an Advertisement in PCA Panno Magazine in about March of 1994. I recognized the VIN Number and bought the car from Allan Worrel who lived in Colorado. He told me that he bought the car from Norman Martin who had never titled it..When it came back to me in NH it had Fuchs wheels."

Would like to make contact with Allan Worrel to learn about his ownership of my car.

Anybody know of him?

If memory serves, both Morrell and Norm Martin are/were long time PCA stallwarts. Don't have any other information.

You might try PCA at the national & Region/Zone level to see if either are still members.

You are the lucky person to get Chuck's car! I would have loved to have been able to buy it.

Any luck yet? I work in HR and we often use this site to search people and do background checks. Might be useful to you too.

Let me know if you're having trouble using it.
