I put some 1" spacers on my front wheels to fill out my new flares. Then took it for a drive into town to pick up some chinese for dinner. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) It was a good little drive

Ethan, think about getting some of that Eastwood Internal Frame Coating and spray the entire length inside the longs to stop that rust (and in the center tunnel if needed).

This Stuff

I sprayed my tunnel area, but I still need to inspect and [probably will] spray insides of the longs on the 'BB' before reinstalling the rocker panels.

Pulled the motor, fixed an oil leak, installed new motor mounts, fixed some electrical, bled my brakes, put the motor back in, went for a test drive, cleaned it up, packed it for tomorrows AX school.

Not a bad day.

Cut, bent, and test fit some seamless tubing for a new clutch cable tube, accelerator linkage tube, and a hand throttle tube inside the center tunnel. Test fit the new SS fuel line from CFR.

spend about 5 hours putting things in totes & boxes and cleaning up the detached garage so I can now walk around without tiptoe'ng through boxes, trailing arms, brake calipers, etc.

Christine has been sitting for a couple of months since she has decided to start only when she feels like it. Seems an electrical gremlin in the ignition switch. Today I uncover her, flip the switch a few times to get the fuel pump all primed up. Turn the key and she fires up immediately, so I took her for a ride. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Sure going to be a sad (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) day when I dismantle her into a mere parts car then on to a roller.

Cleared a pile of crap from one side of the rear deck, boxed it, so I could stage

Lennie and I built an oven from an old hospital incubator and used the Harbor Freight powder.

Lennie did some research and we turned down the pressure and appplied it slower with multiple layers. It seems to be a smoother finish than before!

Bottom portion of inner longs are gone. Some prior PO added an outer clamshell which is decent shape. And some prior PO did alot of patching to weld the floors to the inner longs. So I am rebuilding the bottoms of the inner longs, then an Engman kit will cover everything.

Wow my door's finally close...

Picked up back pad from the upholstery lady and install it. She did a great job and only charged $125! My punch list is almost done!
