Thanks Bob, this inspired me so I did the same. Removing the belts is about as long as I can work outside this time of the year. Belts cleaned up nicely, I'll reinstall them tomorrow AM.

Drove it...with my old friend Rob. He was visiting to mark the 49th anniversary of our first meeting during basic cadet training at USAF Academy, 23 June 1969.

Yes, i did. The good old diluted vinegar worked very well, took a few days to get the vinegar smell out afterwards, but it's been fine ever since.

The SS comes up great on the buffer with chrome rouge.
