Well not today but on Friday. We cleaned the seat belts in the 1970 Garage find 4 that I bought. Bruce stone told me how to clean the old belts. Interesting that the seat belt receivers are dated 1969 and 1970. Car date is 6-1970

The water was very dirty. Soap up and wash twice or in till the water is not black, then rinse twice. Hang till try.

Thanks Bob, this inspired me so I did the same. Removing the belts is about as long as I can work outside this time of the year. Belts cleaned up nicely, I'll reinstall them tomorrow AM.

Drove it...with my old friend Rob. He was visiting to mark the 49th anniversary of our first meeting during basic cadet training at USAF Academy, 23 June 1969.

We drove it from CO to MN, ND, and back a couple of times in '72 and '73...and we haven't changed a bit (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes, i did. The good old diluted vinegar worked very well, took a few days to get the vinegar smell out afterwards, but it's been fine ever since.

I am not sure if I ever heard the results of clogged spray bar or what was it on your 3.6?

Added a big matte black racing stripe. Should make the car significantly faster. I’m on the fence if I’m going to keep it.

I buffed the shit out of my mirror on the 70 garage find 4.

The SS comes up great on the buffer with chrome rouge.

Looks great, Bob.

I sold the 'BB' to Bill (Bill1963) ... but we still have another one parked in the driveway.
