Grid is up but not tied in yet. Got it located, now I need to square it up and rivet it in place.

This is a test. New phone and a new PC.
Looking good, Joe.

Are you concerned about moisture build-up in the attic space between the roof and the insulation? Are you going to vent the attic space?

Not exactly a mod to my 914 but it is a 914 part put to another use. This is my new 914 desk chair.

Nice! I was in the process of doing this to my 993 seats but then they sold.... now I regret not keeping them!

I ordered door braces from Chris Foley. So I hope to keep my door gaps when I repair the longs. Maybe this will help me get motivated.

I also ordered the door braces from Tangerine, but my work got delayed by a few months, I would like to see your progress once you start. Mike Kelly

I will try to document my progress. May take awhile, have many things pulling me away. And this will be my first attempt at this.

started first time to take it out of the garage, after just limping hime the other day.

took out the plugs and the were all sooty so cleaned them, rechecked the gaps and put them back in. the f*#@ing thing would not restart. so after dropping the ratchet on the trunk and chipping the paint i pushed it back inside before i took a hammer to it!!!

Rebuilt the MPS - diaphragm was completely torn away from the outer piece. Thanks to Chris at Tangerine (shades of Led Zep?) the MPS is operating. Will dwell and then O2/H test soon.

The first time that engine has run smoothly since 1988. Barked a few times and blew VERY white smoke before I was able to fix the MPS.

Finally finish the engine rebuild and the installation and tuning of new PMO's. Car runs great. Then, the starter is intermittent. Starter solenoid needs a tap from a rubber hammer. Should not have installed an old starter when the engine was out. Learned a lesson. Anyway, can't get to the top starter bolt with different combinations of extensions, universals and cuss words. Unbolted the muffler, removed the two rear engine/transmission mounts, lowered the engine a few inches and it went quickly. Always something. . . . Now for the rain to quit.

Helping my mechanic race his IMSA GTU Porsche at Road America starting on Thursday. Anyone going to be there this coming weekend?

Meziere 55 gpm. The radiator may or may not get changed out. I'll let you know once the new pump is installed this week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Visited it at the body shop. All prep work is done and it is about to head to the paint booth. Looks good so far. Should have it back in a couple of weeks. Also received the rechromed bumpers from Tri-City Plating in TN. I think they came out pretty nicely.
