Yes Mark, going to pour lots of concrete after I flip the house in HB.
Cool. I love concrete (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I want to pour an additional driveway and parking pad on the side of the RV garage in AZ so I can park the trailer off to the side instead of taking up space in the driveway.

Attached Image

Going to be tough though, need to have some huge boulders removed and need to build two small retaining walls due to the sloping terrain.

Also want to widen the existing slab in front of the Torrance garage and build a double-wide carport over it. The Torrance job will be much easier, just need to dig down 4 inches for the slab, and a few inches deeper for some 4x4 post stirrups ... throw down some rebar or mesh and build simple forms. It's a small area, so I can finish the surface myself.

I have a friend who's going to dig up our back yard to rearrange the sprinklers and level the yard off anyway, so I'll just have him prep the area for the new slab 'while he's in there' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Repaired the rust in the rear trunk area. We're ready to weld the new panel in place this week.

Thanks to the guys at Restoration Design for the sheet metal!

You can check it out here http://www.2002and914.com/?page_id=743 if you're interested in it.

Very excited!

Put a new starter in to replace the one that almost stranded me in the middle of nowhere Nevada last month. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
Made room in the garage to get the blue car out of the rain. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
And a short drive in the last of the sun for this year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Now just gotta clear up some room to build a motor for the red car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Got pictures of my new tires on my RS finished wheels and posted them. Thanks Eric @PMB

O, I love the way they look and the tires have a little rim guard so no rim scraping. 7 and 8s

A good friend milled Delrin bushings to replace the plastic ones from Elephant Racing for my front sway bar. I buttoned it all back together and am looking forward to getting it out on the road.

Moved it into the house....

Attached Image

since it came out of storage and all through its restoration the teener has lived in the shed. after moving the Cayman to offsite storage for a couple months the 914 is in the integral garage for the first time EVER.

This in preparation for the trunk hinge repair. and removing the engine for the third time in 13 months.

Attached Image

Too hard to get in there and weld with the engine in place.

I am getting pretty good at removing the engine.
