Drove it (on Friday), covered 73 miles and only had to bump/push-start it once (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

SWMBO was not impressed...especially after I told her that reliability is the enemy of adventure.

You'd think that after 37 years I'd know better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well started to work on cleaning out the seam sealer in the rear trunk floor only to find that it’s likely best to add a Restoration Design rear trunk floor pan piece first!

I had a PC925 in the 'BB' for several years. Then when I took it off the road in mid 2015, the battery sat unused until mid 2018. I thought it'd be a gonner, but a quick charge with a Battery Tender and it sprang right back to life (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)

I recently purchased a PC925 from an ebay vendor for 'HOWARD' (our '71) - for good price too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

No, they're stock. I think of them as a fuse for the 901 transmission. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

I had the same problem but, fortunately, it wasn't a real difficult fix. The hardest part was reforming the panel sent to us by Restoration Design. I have a 75 and the panel is really made for an earlier car.

http://www.2002and914.com/?page_id=743

It just took a little finesse, a bench vise, a round steel bar about 14 inches long and a body hammer.

Giving a shout out to PMB Performance for the excellent job redoing my front trunk.
I had a front oil cooler
installed more than 15 years ago, people that installed the cooler cut big rectangle holes in the fender wells to vent hot air, looked like crap. PMB filled in the holes, installed a new cooler, rerouted the ss oil lines. Mounting a space saver spare.

The front trunk looks amazing...Thank You PMB

Custom mounted VDO gauges to my 914rubber radio delete panel. I'm happy with the results and now on to laying out the wiring.

Used to work every week on my 914, almost daily, until 2008. Then laid off and moved cross country to PHX. Bought a house and been working on that all the time.

914 - Cleaned it out (it was used for storage) and put it up on jackstands.

The Project RESTARTS!

Paid for and sorted out the shipping for my new toy. Should be over here (UK) in a month or so... Thanks Don and 914world.com (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif)

Probably quicker and certainly in better condition than my first 'fourteener', a genuine 914/6 I bought from the service manager at Sonauto in Paris...

Looks fantastic Jim. That previous cutout looked like an H20 conversion. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Finally added Chris's ( Tangerine Racing ) Pressure Relief Valve. It's been needed since WCR 2017. Saw some 25# pressure on some of the high altitude and high temp hill climbs.
