Drove it for well over 200 miles and for 4 1/2 hours on PCA 914-9/14 event - great drive, great people, great food, great fun.

Car did well, considering.....several adventurous events with the engine, but it kept going all day and never failed me. With Gen light on dimly much, but not all, the day, battery stayed charged at 12.4 volts & no electrical problems.

Temp stayed in middle until very end of both out and back trips when approached red but never too close. Flaps, t-stat here, going in soon....

Sad I missed getting a pic of a whole parking lot full of nice Porsches from the First Settler's Region of the PCA at the restaurant where we met and ate.

Wow $2.19 for Regular Gas... $2.79 here in NY

Continued rust exploration, and found some classic cheesy fiberglass on the front floor corners.

Found out I'm missing 1 of 2 radiator petcock valves.

EBay special radiator, says for a Celica. Store bought valves didn't work at all. So I remove the one remaining one and measure the threads.

Radiator fitting m10-1.25, part number.

I pain $2.07 yesterday for regular in Columbia Sc on way home...
the biggest difference from state to state is the STATE tax on each gallon of gas , at least here in the states.. so what you get for that extra $1.50 / gallon in California?? not much I think

In So Cal. they keep ripping out the freeway over passes and building wider bridges for more freeway lanes. You would think they would invest in more mass transit like electric trains. Wider freeways turn into wider parking lots during rush hour.

Since I was able to get the new (to me) set of 2.0 Fuchs from a fellow member, I put the EMPI reproductions on to my daughters '74. The genuine Fuchs will go on the '75!

Just another reason why a small town in the mountains of N/E AZ appealed to me. Gas is a few cents higher than in the PHX area, but worth it ... and no heavy traffic issues (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Upgraded the starter to a Bosch SR68X and installed the Ford soleniod.

Modified the exhaust pipe for a cleaner look.
