I plugged some orifices as I flipped my intake, refit my fuel tank, and did a preliminary test fit of what this little car is swallowing. Fun stuff!!

Looks like you're working on it more. That gas tank looks familiar. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Drove it thru some nice back country hills and curves....man this this just wants to spin the tires once I shift into 2nd gear...having a blast for sure. I adjusted the idle down to 650-700rpm and the wife commented how the 914 is almost quieter than her car, that is until I open it up.

I need a resonator or better muffler, the wife and kids can hear me from inside the house a block away when I get on it.

Then you have the exhaust set up correctly.

I polished up the back window with Cerium Oxide this weekend. Cleaned it up very nice. There a couple of scratches in the glass that it reduced as well. Wanted to test it on a flat piece before we did the inside of the windshield.
The glass looks almost new. I didn't get a picture of it because I wrapped it up and put it away before I thought to do so but, I'm not dissapointed in the least. 45+ years of wear and you couldn't tell now.

His name is Jeremy and he operates via Dent Pro. His number is 704-426-7279. He did a wonderful job on the Cayenne a few years back and I always kept his info. He corrected around 12 minor dings around the 914 (some of which i couldn't see till he pointed them out) and he threw in the single ding on the Pano for nothing. I think his rate is pretty normal at $125- $150 a panel. He showed me a polished aluminum body cobra he corrected. Crazy!

Thanks Bill!! My Maserati was the victim of some stuff falling off the shelf onto the front hood, the car was literally dent and scratch free before that, the only good thing was that the 914 was not parked in that spot. i will have to give him a call, thanks for the information.
