Stripped 46 year old carpet out, removed backpad, removed, cleaned and reinstalled rear window as it was loose, pulled targa pad off to install new one, and installed first three pieces of new carpet. Decent day.

PCA chapter did an event down at a tulip farm. My wife and I drove our 914 there and picked some flowers.

One of the other PCA guys left us a little friend. I think we'll keep him and put it on the dashboard at car shows.

The weather was so nice my brother and I took a nice ride up to see @Tygaboy and his new MBZ project. He also took me for a ride in his 914.....Holy Moly that car is quick. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) We had a nice time talking for about an hour or more and then it was time to hit the road.

That was my brother's first real ride in my car since his major back surgery 9 weeks ago. He seemed to tolerate it well. Yes, he rode in it for a couple short trips in the past few days, but this was about 70 miles each way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Saturday i went to a local breakfast gathering , battery had its last hurrah, first time ever in 12 years that i needed a jump start! New battery installed- missed warranty period by just a few months, of course!

busy week, finished the install of the new defrost fan, ran wiring for the motorized washer pump(a OEM NOS 911 part).

in 12 years i’ve never had a washer system operational, or the defrost fan!
