Shoulda done this long time ago - got new mirror from Auto Atlanta for driver's side, put old mirror on passenger side. Missed dead center of threaded holes in plate by less than 1mm......using 1/8" bit, so easily corrected to center with larger bit. I am a heavy user of my right mirror and long needed this - have been putting center mirror canted to right so I could see cars on my right - but this is MORE BETTER!

Isn't that what all Porsche's were made for? Or am I mistaken?

Working on an oil cooler for the race car. Radiators going on the rear panel in-between the tail lights. 4 vents across the back of the car. I'm putting 2 13 row coolers the coolers just arived. They will go in this box.

Attached Image

The fans put out 800 CFM but I don't think it will be enough thrust to make the car roll.

Last week, my wife @K.T. and I went to Porsche Palooza in Eureka Springs, Arkansas with @ClayPerrine and @Betty ! We had a blast. It was great to see all of the beautiful fall colors, catch up with friends, meet some new people, and drive some excellent roads. We can't wait till next year!

Have thought nearly forever to put on pass side mirrors, but just bring myself to drill holes in a perfectly fine door.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(I know I can get it right by taking off the door card and working from the inside, but I'm just saying)

I'm too dependent on my right mirror in traffic, and while most of my driving is in the country, I feel like I need it for safety.

Yes, punching from underneath is the best way to mark the holes, but I made a template on driver's side that I could flip and use on right side. As I said, I was 1mm off from perfect with 1/8" pilot drill, and corrected that easily with the final bit. Gasket covers any small errors.

Got the upper dash pad and the vinyl installed on the car today. @Mikey914 thanks for the parts. I bought that dash pad from you guys almost 4 years ago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Great stuff!
I'll be putting in the front glass on Sunday.

Last week a couple of days were in the 70s, so the crew-dog and I put over 150 miles on the car.
