First pass at rear toe and ended up within 1/6 on the left and 1/8 on the right. Target is in 1/16 on both sides.

Bruce enlightened me on how it's done when I posted awhile ago trying to get one apart. This worked for me, very appreciative for the help, Bruce. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

Place the shaft end into the gap in the vise.
Hit the other end of the shaft with a big hammer to push the shaft out farther. File down the mushroomed end.
Clamp the clutch arm end into the vise.
Use a big a adjustable wrench on the other end of the arm and twist back and forth.
Once it starts to move get a small pry bar under the lip of the arm and pry while you twist.
Or send it to me for a restored set.

It took only 10 minutes to finish the disassembly of the pedal cluster with these instructions.

I am so appreciative of @bdstone and @nathanxnathan for sharing. I have spent hours trying to the shaft off this assembly with no progress. Thank you so much! I finally feel safe ordering the rebuild parts.

Finished dialing in the rear toe. Now working in the front camber and toe. Front was way out and moving it in the right direction has already improved the steering.

Started working on a down and dirty manual trunk release so that I can retain the rear Porsche reflector.....solenoid is non-functional, and I want something easy and full-proof.

I pulled the motor out of one of my cars so I can refresh it. The car came from the desert and everything is covered in a thick layer of dust and dirt.

made it to cars ans coffee today and look what showed up, a red 914, with a Chevy V8 transplant nice car, well done conversion using Renegade kit. There were a dozen varried 911’s and a few caymans, one kit Speedster, and us 2 914’s.
i have to check ans see if the VIN of that 914 is in our database.

I ran 3 of the 4 motors today. I didn't check to see which way they were going, I'll do that when all 4 motors are running.
