As it shows in the picture above the antenna and radio are toast.
If I want music I will run it through my hearing aids. But I do
want to be able to use my phone for navigation and I can answer
my phone through the hearing aids again. So I needed to add
USB’s.

Only added the rings. I did my speedo and I'm working on an oil pressure gauge to go above the fuel gauge on the dash. I will be digging into these to paint the needles and fix the clock. But I can do that while driving it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

With the oil lines going through the frunk the stock floor I modified would not work. It landed right where the oil lines run. Then I noticed a shelf on either side of the floor pan. Puts me below the lines and still enough room for a tool kit and a pair of mechanics gloves. It too will be covered with perlon. That will work.

Laundry day (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Cleaned up real nice and got the grommets for the oil lines in. It is hot and humid so to avoid a stroke I think I am done outside for the day.

More "Fun" today. I started early and still Sweatball city. You live in a desert dummy. Pulled the oil lines, got it done but my hands are on strike. Bashed them good. Dang. I was looking for elephant snot wire pulling lube. Yellow slippery and a darn mess. But I ran into a foam lube and it worked well enough, and very little residue so my new go to. So glad to have that done. Pics:

Wow! Nice work but Jesus that is some serious bruising. I always wear some type of gloves when I work on our cars now; gotta protect the fingers/hands. I have a spectrum from the cheap "surgical" gloves to some pretty nice Harbor Freight grippy gloves.

Nothing real exciting, except maybe for me. Sun came up and I was in the engine compartment. Scrubbing like crazy. Look below the shelf and it was similar to that.
I was thinking of painting, that thought has been downgraded. Go in there tomorrow and do one more pass and I think touch up will do.

Your oil line work is looking good, and the space-saver spare (plywood) cutout looks trick ! Just don't dehydrate out there under that backyard roof >>Drink a lot of cool h2o. My workshop in the City gets a bit of a breeze, I have large fans but always humid inside and sweat running into my eyes, time to cool off & change tee shirts. I use neosporin on my cuts and bruised hands, arms...actually works good overnight too. Us old guys need to be careful with our thin skin (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
My Porsche tech uses 'Low adhesive' bandaids for his cuts; the sticky type can pull your skin/ fine hair off of your arms + hands (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Finally got the wire I needed (#10) and the kevlar jacket for it. I have one high amp run through the tunnel from the battery to a relay in the cab. I made sure I have a good chance of no shorts from that wire. It will feed some type of rally lights up front. Vintage is out, add a few years to them and they turn to gold. But Hella makes the 4000 and it is a nice pencil beam driving light.

I’m putting in an electrical pump for the windshield washers. It’s a 1971 so the wiper switch is on the dash. So I started looking for a switch to replace the cigarette lighter. But dog gone I didn’t want to remove it and could not find a switch I was happy with. I’ve got six knobs across the dash, my head said just about anything you put there will look funny. Just about anything, except maybe another factory knob. I’d like to find an early one but this will do for now. Found a black identification insert. Sanded it down and polished it.
