Thanks, hope to christen it with road grime before too long!

Tom, it's a 312 T-bird motor. My brother has the front end apart now, contemplating a power steering and disc brake conversion. I'll post a pic of the matching 'Westerner' travel trailer that he's currently working on.

Took a break from working on my long term project to fit a weltmeister sway bar to my driver.
Pretty straight forward install but hate having imperial threads on a german car.
Have to say i am really impressed by the change in handling with the new bar.
Engine bay is pretty well finished though i may make some airboxes for the throttle bodies one day.

Just finished spinning up the SHO motor to test oil pressure before starting it the first time (next Saturday).

Picked up some dry ice from Fredmeyer and used it to help freeze the tar on the interior floor then scraped and pounded the crap out of it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) think I need to get a few of these to remove it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)

Installed speed bleeders on my brake calipers and flushed out old brake fluid with new. Speed bleeders made the job easy.

I guess I was just lucky? Hit the tar with a heat gun and it came off in large sheets with minimal effort.

Got the car back from the painters, fitted the doors and hood and started putting Mike's seal kit to work. Will put a pic up tonight. It's great to be able to put the car back together again.

Installed shorter velocity stacks. The old ones hit the top of the air cleaner. Also installed the SVDA 034 accuspark distributor with the electronic ignition. Cheap at $90 from the UK.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) I sold Beauty in March and, "There is no substatute." I thought my Bug would work but like a 911 it wants to go sideways when pushed.
