I went for a drive and took my GoPro along to make a video. I really like the effect of the swirling trees on the engine cover shot.

I like the engine lid shot! Very creative and cool! What canyon is that? I'm partial to Latigo myself.

Thanks, Black22! It's Live Oak Canyon Rd, off of East Santiago Canyon Rd. The first shot (where I close the door) is right by Cook's Corner, the big biker hangout.

Tried my hand at surface rust removal on the '72. I never should have left this car sit outside, but that's another story all to it's own (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Spent about an hour with a couple of small hand tools and some naval jelly to get this far (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Another half hour to get the rest of front portion of the fender cleaned up to this point.

I think I need to find some large diameter Scotch-Brite discs for the power sander to help speed up the process ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

Thought I'd throw in a pic of my brother's trailer project (matching his '57 Ford station wagon).

Cool trailer I did a 73 Boler a couple of summers ago!

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i156.photobucket.com-14477-1356252963.1.jpg)

I ended up getting board one day and had left over paint and did my rims rear lip and mirrors. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Hey Noel,

Thanks for the compliment! The video was a solitary pursuit, but I might make another with a couple of friends, when we all do a Big Bear breakfast run. Happy holidays to you.

Shuie, can that tank be saved?

Hi Shui,

Do you want a tank for free? I believe it came from '72 or '73. If you want I can just it give to you. Since I got it for free from Beach914. (Thanks again to sir David: Beach914!). If you have time today, I'm home till 3pm today.

God Bless!
