Got her back on the road!!! Had removed the dizzy for cleaning and did not reinstall it in the proper position. Haynes helped get it back to TDC for #1 and she fired up after fighting it off and on for 5 months.

I replaced the voltage regulator. I then proceeded to remove the roof and go for a coastside test drive. The battery is now charging, and no more big voltage drops with the brake lights or turn signals…

I noticed a missing bolt on the exhaust so I went out and got a new one! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Then I started it up (first click, gota love the FI) and ran it for a while since it has been sitting!

Damn, gonna miss you Joe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ... Let's do Slaters again before you bail (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

Finally got around to installing the winch in my trailer this afternoon (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ... the trailer project has been on hold for months. Next will be to finish the ceiling paneling and building the 'kitchenette' cabinetry. Seeing the pix of your trailer got me back in the game ...

Actually made some progress today. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Finished the pushrod tube seals, removed both rear calipers (shipping to Eric (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) ), pulled rotors, and drained gas tank. Next up is to remove and inspect gas tank, install my new Tangerine ss fuel lines, and fresh engine compartment fuel lines.

The Minister of Domestic Chores told me NO MORE CAR WORK until I finished the groundwork for the upcoming front porch and driveway concrete pour (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Started chiseling 63-year old stucco off of a couple of 100-year old brick pilasters this morning (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif)

I have to grind the remainder off ... I'm sure this will destroy my $20 HF grinder in the process (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Pushed it off the lift out back, again (sigh)
Put the 911 on the lift and stripped off all the dented sheet metal.
Dry fit all the new sheet metal.

Off to tune up the fender flanges tonight for a snug fit.
They it all goes to the painter.

Should be on the road again for Hershey.
Then, again, after a long hiatus, I may get time to work on the 914 between my job, my house and travel.
