Took (one of) the love of my life to a car show with it.
Your daughter's a cutie and your car is awesome, but looking at the ivory one, I'm just envisioning how nice my wife's L80E will look like when it's finished (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Love the dash gauges!
There should be a rubber strip along the top edge of the gas tank bulkhead, to keep the gas smell out of your groceries...

I'm thinking about the one at 914rubber myself or I would not have noticed.

Rainy July 4 in east TN...

Finally got the transmission fill plug out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blowtorch.gif)

Got tired of my 2x2 "hood prop" and installed new torsion spring rollers for rear trunk lid. I still have all my fingers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Finished all new brake lines from Eric and started reinstalling my reupholstered seats.

Scraped floor tar, and the old seal/caulk crap. Had to cut the bolts holding the pedal cluster down as the heads were all stripped. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

Finished smoothing over a set of spare bumpers and fiberglass valences. I had to make some repairs to the valences. The rear was cut out for monza exhaust. Soon I will break out the paint gun.

After 2 months without driving and starting the car, I was able to start it just after a few tries. My wife brother in law (my wife twin sister husband) who visited us for a week who lives in Portland Oregon was able to ride on my car for our family and friends dinner fellowship.
