I dug through the central vac bucket looking for a brake fitting that some half wit vacuumed up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

I still haven't found the rear targa latch spring that your 'half wit's' brethren allowed to get flung into some unknown region in my shop (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Looking sharp, dude (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif)

Are those ATS wheels?

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) That is a NICE car! The flares look staggered a bit. Very aggressive look. Love the color. What is that, metallic green?

thanks the flares are standard width fiberglass gt flares. the color is gasser green from eastwood. wasnt about to pay the big bucks for a porsche color. I painted it myself so it sure isnt perfect but im happy with it .
Today I spruced up and installed a better top on it. the old one had a big pucker over the targa bar

Got some goodies from PMB and Tangerine to weld on tomorrow (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)
Pulled the front sway out of the bucket to go onto the red tub.
Cleaned up the MC and painted the bracket.

changed the front tires went to the dmv and got it registered no problem. then took it down to get inspected no problem. and for a short ride discovered that i only have 3 gears. a shifter adjustment will hopefully fix that. Great day!

Drove it to work and on the way home, ran off and left a 911 that thought it was going to pounce on me. He reacted too slowly, my carbs dumped fuel and I was gone! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I seam sealed front drivers fender, undercoated it, installed one turbo tie rod, and sanded down and painted the supports for the A arms.

Just have to finishing sanding passenger front fender well, treat for rust, seam seal undercoat, and install other turbo tie rod.

The old girl is almost on her own feet.....

Got over to the shop for several hours on Wednesday. Had to charge the battery in the 'BB' (which tells me it ain't gettin' driven enough) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) - so I could pull it off the lift and park it outside. Kept it on the charger for the duration.

We needed more work space, so Fred and I rearranged a bunch of 'stuff'. We had to remove some seized brake pads in the 912 so we could move it around and stick it up on the lift (drive train swap coming up).

Then we grabbed a few Mini Trail bike frames that were stashed up in the loft. We'll be reviewing the parts inventory and hope to start building them up next week.

Got to go again today, but only for a couple of hours. Started the 'Westy' to charge up it's battery (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer3.gif) ... and packed up a Triad to ship out.

I need to go for a drive (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

When it was cooler......that is cooler for Vegas. Just flew back from Vegas last night and cooler is a relative term. While I was there for he three days, it was above 100 each day. Good god 103 at midnight on the strip!

You car looks fantastic. I love the color.
